Travonna Coffee House
1195 N. High St. (just south of 5th Ave.)
Columbus, OH

Join us for DAC’s 2nd dance jam at Gallery Hop where the community can see and experience what dancers normally do in a closed studio.

Travonna Coffee House has teamed up with DAC to host its first ever dance event! All Columbus dancers are welcomed to come out for another fun night to network, create, play, and enjoy Gallery Hop.

All you have to do is show up.

The jam will follow a number score.

Numbers (of dancers) and times (duration of dances) will be randomly selected.

The people dancing during any set can change through tag team exchanges, seamless transitions, and abrupt interruptions......but the number of people dancing stays the same!

From around 8-10 pm, we'll do a number of different sets.

With coffee breaks and conversation in between.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for fun and safe dancing in a public space!

We hope you join us!

Mollee Gray Workshops a Huge Success

Posted by Miranda Ross on January 31, 2010 at 9:20 PM Comments comments (1)

A big CCC "Thank You" to Mollee Gray and our 70 participants who enjoyed Mollee's workshops on Saturday January 30!! Mollee brought Columbus some serious energy, enthusiasm, and an infectious personality along with a terrific set of jazz routines. Mollee really enjoyed her time in Columbus and working with our great group of participants.

Special thanks to Tuttle Park Rec Center and Campfire USA, and, for their gracious referrals and sharing some very talented dancers, Opening Night, In Step Dance Center, Dublin Dance Centre and Gymnastics, Wendy's Gymnastics and Fitness, Studio C, The Marjorie Jones Schools, and the Movement Center School of Dance.  Finally, thanks to Michael Abbatiello from the Ohio State University College of Dance for his great assistance!

Mollee shared with us that she would love to return to Columbus soon, hopefully with some of her friends from the show, so we'll be putting together another workshop likely for this summer. Please stay tuned and become a fan of Columbus Choreography Connection on Facebook!
